Terms of Service
Please read these terms in full.
By submitting a commission request, you are confirming that you have read and agree to these terms of service.
What I'm good at:

Excessively complex or detailed designs (these tend to require an expensive number of edits)

I reserve the right to reject any commission request for any reason. I will only draw what I think I can handle and what I feel comfortable with drawing.
Payment
Payment must be in full up front upon receiving the commission invoice.
Payments only accepted via PayPal, Square, and Canada Interac.
Refunds
Due to the nature of flat-rate projects, I do not offer refunds.
I will only refund your payment if:
I cannot finish the project.
I refuse to do the project.
You have somehow ordered by mistake and contact me within 2 hours of submitting payment.
I reserve the right to refuse any project or cancel any project at any time.Payments will not be refunded if I can reasonably declare that I have been harassed or abused by the client during any point of the commission process.

Updates throughout the process, and up to three (3) revisions
*Glaze is an anti generative image ("A.I.") software tool developed at University of Chicago that protects digital images from various kinds of theft. It renders a protective filter over the image that is (usually) difficult to see by the naked eye, but serves to confuse and damage the "A.I." models that seek to steal millions of artworks from artists around the world. Using Glaze increases protection from unethical practices from 3rd parties.It is requested and strongly advised that when sharing your finished art in public online spaces that you use the Watermarked and "Glazed" document, and reserve the other documents for personal and/or private use.Learn more about Glaze here!
Timeframe
I do not agree to meet any deadlines.*
Projects will be completed in a timely manner.
Clients will be updated regularly about their project status and will be informed of any delays.
Clients are welcome to view the public commission queue for universal updates.
*If you have a deadline to meet 2-6 months out, please feel free to contact me to discuss project possibilities, but please keep in mind that tight deadlines are never a viable option for me.
Image Rights
NO EXCEPTIONS
Commissioned art may not be used for any commercial use without explicit written permission.
Commissioned art may not be used for any N/F/T or cry/pto projects.
Commissioned art may not be scraped or fed into "A.I." programs or other algorithmic learning models.
Any violation of this rule is an immediate violation of this contract.
Don't. I've poisoned your dataset already anyway.
Clients may use commissioned art for personal use!
Personal use of the artwork is similar to and includes:
using as a profile picture or banner
using as a tabletop roleplay token
printing the image to use at home
sharing the image with friends and family
using the image on a character reference page such as Toyhouse
Other Guidelines
Because of the unreliability of social media, updates and contact will, by default, be done via e-mail.
By submitting a request you are confirming that you have permissions to request art of the character/subject. The client bears all responsibility for complications that may arise from purchasing art of a likeness that they do not have the rights to use.
I often post commissioned artwork online. If you do not want me to do this, please indicate this in your submission form.
I WILL be working on other projects in between completing commissions.
It will take longer for you to receive updates from me the further down in the queue you are. It is important to me that I update you appropriately and in a timely manner.
You should not need to hunt me down. It is my most important policy to keep in touch with clients as I move through the queue and complete projects.
Due to my medical situation, delays are common. It is my policy to keep you up to date on what to expect.
References
I do not require visual references to make art for you! However if you do not have any visual references, you MUST include a clear and complete description of the character. If I do not receive this information, I will not do your project.If you don't have any existing artwork for me to refer to, I still highly recommend bringing a handful of visual references. This can help me understand your vision more clearly, which will minimize the number of edits/modifications your project might need. (Significant and/or frequent edits may lead to requiring additional payment based on my current hourly rate.)I do not need your character's entire history or lore. I know your character's lore is important, and some background lore is actually key to getting a solid idea of how your character carries themself! But too much information that is not visual will slow me down and may lead to the delay or even rejection of your request.The information I do need is:
- hair color
- hairstyle/texture
- skin color/texture
- eye color
- perceived age (they must appear 18 years old or older. I don't draw teens. I don't draw children.)
- body type/weight (if you aren't certain, this is an excellent resource for gathering inspiration on body types!)
- demeanor/attitude (helps with posing and expression)
- important skin details like scars or birthmarks (if applicable)
- important clothing details like specific pieces of clothing or jewelry (if applicable)

About Experimental Sketches
An Experimental Sketch is when you hand me your OC and then turn me loose. Having paid time to experiment and practice is how I am able to keep this price point unusually low.I might return with an unusual color palette, a bold lighting choice, something shaded with pen hatching or watercolor. You might get something back fully rendered or a sketch using detail techniques I haven't used before.The time spent with each piece is consistent regardless of style/rendering choice:
Bust Portrait - 30 minutes
Half Body - 1 Hour
Full Body - 2 HoursNo two pieces will be exactly alike. Unlike my other commissions, I will not accept requests for specific poses, lighting or level of rendering. No WIPs delivered. 3 free minor edits permitted upon delivery of final.
Other Projects
I am willing to discuss other projects, such as couples portraits, weapons, illustrated scenes, character and costume designs, and NSFW content. Nothing is guaranteed, but I am versatile! Send me an email and briefly describe what you are looking to get. (ex. two characters arguing with another two watching, a kissing scene, a portrait that features a detailed costume weapon.)
